Mas­ter

The four-semester master program consists of 4 Compulsory Modules with a total scope of 24 LP, 5 Optional Compulsory Modules with a scope of 40 LP, the non technical Studies with a scope of 6 LP, a research project with a scope of 15 LP as well as the Master´s thesis with a scope of 25 LP. The Master’s thesis is written close to the end of the Master Degree Course within a scope of a maximum of 6 months.

Students can determine their individual academic profile by choosing a personal area of concentration and selecting a specialisation with its’ involved basic modules. They can earn alltogether 80 LP.

You can choose 5 Compulsory Modules. In order to select a specialization that is shown in your certificate you need to fulfill one of the following combinations of compulsory modules:

Specialization Nanotechnology

  • Nanotechnology
  • Particle technology
  • 3 freely selectable modules

Specialization Polymer technology

  • Polymer processing
  • Properties of polymers
  • 3 freely selectable modules

Specialization Process Engineering

  • Multiphase processes
  • Chemical engineering processes
  • 3 freely selectable modules
